Sewing Room; Embroidery

Hello again,

My sewing room is almost finished.  My dear hubby just has to finish up the closet.  He ripped out some carpet and installed laminate in there.  But we need to trim it out yet...someday.

Once that's done I can finally get everything cleaned up and better organized.  Ok, who are we kidding here?  If it's clean and organized that means I'm not sewing!  The two just don't go together with me!

To my defense, I have had some sewing jobs, so I haven't been able to organize like I really want.  I'm doing some embroidery work for a couple people and having to once again figure out my software.  I need to embroider more often so I remember what I'm doing.

This is my beloved Janome Memory Craft Horizon 12000.  I still have so much to learn about its capabilities.  I've been working at the computer so books and papers everywhere.  I didn't take time to clean up before taking this picture!

 Love having a nice bookcase for all my sewing books, etc.  Some of the containers will hopefully go in the closet to the right of the bookcase once we're done with the trim...someday!

My cutting table.  Unfortunately, at the moment a printer is sitting there and some thread.  I hope to relocate those things off this table.  I'm in a middle of some personal sewing between jobs for customers.  Again, I didn't clean up.  But now you know how it really is most of the time! ;)

Well, this area is a little tidier.  This is my little back up machine and serger.

I have another corner with a rack of threads, but this gives you an idea of my new sewing room.  Still need to organize but that's a continual thing with me!
